Does first date sex ruin a potential relationship?

I went on a blind date with a seemingly perfect guy, everything went REALLY well. One thing lead to another and I regrettably ended up having sex with him. I know its the worst thing a girl could do but that's how things worked out. Its seems, however, that's all he wants to do now. That's all he talks about. Did I ruin it? Is there anyway I could drop hints that I'm not looking for someone to sleep with but a boyfriend? Or is it a lost cause?
